Nobody likes a dirty boat! From regular wash downs to boat detailing preparation, you'll find a wide selection of boat soaps here that can keep your pride and joy shining. As with all boat detailing products, Maguires soaps and Starbrite boat soaps lead the way, however great products are also produced by Marikate, OrProducts and more. For the many people who use Awl Grip paint, the manufacturer recommended boat soap is AwlWash. If your boat has boat wax applied, make sure the boat soap you use will not strip this protective coating (some will) and also look at the selection of boat wash and wax soaps available for that extra shine!

Boat Wash Down Tips

When completing your boat wash down, make sure you:

• Rinse the boat down well with water to remove loose dirt that could scratch your surfaces.
• Mix your boat soap or wash and wax to the correct ratio with water.
• Insure your boat brush or sponge is clean and free from any grit that could scratch your surface.
• Scrub soap onto your boat making sure to clean all areas.
• Rinse soap scum thoroughly & insure all residue is washed overboard.
• Never allow soap to dry onto surface (larger boats must be washed in sections) If soap does dry, re-wash these areas.
